The Norwich and Norfolk Terriers are the smallest breeds in the Terrier Group. Breeds that are not for everyone, his gameness can surely get him into his share of trouble! Bred to hunt vermin in Britain for centuries he became a favorite of the students of Cambridge University. There his popularity grew into the companion dog of today. They are active, intelligent and hardy. A great companion for a country setting or the apartment dweller. Both the Norwich and Norfolk were registered as Norwich until 25 yrs ago.
